IEEE AUB Calendar Subscribe to our Google Online Calendar and get the latest events and announcements to your phone and e-mail! In order to subscribe to our Google Calendar, you must first have a Google Account. If you don't have one click here to register for one. Its free! Now here are the steps that teach you how to subscribe to our calendar: Once you sign in to your google account by going to www.google.com and click on 'Sign In' at the top right corner, go to the Google Calendar by going to calendar.google.com You will get the following window, enter your Full Name and Location and Time Zone like indicated below: Then on the left side, in the "Other Calendars" Box, click on 'ADD', then click on 'Add a public Calendar' Then click on 'Add URL' in the top Then insert in the field the following URL and then click ADD: http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/aub.ieee%40gmail.com/public/basic.ics And we are done subscribing for the calendar! Now to set up your account to receive sms alerts: Click at the top right "Settings": Click on "Mobile Setup", and then insert your Country and Cell Phone Number and Click on Send Verification Code. You will receive an SMS to yout mobile phone along with the verification code. Write the Verification Code in the field and click on Finish Setup and Then Don't forget to click on the SAVE Button! Now on the left side, in the "My Calendars" Box, click on the arrow on the right of 'aub.ieee@gmail.com', and then click on 'Notifications" On the right, there are two Columns, Email and SMS. Click on all of the check boxes and then click on the SAVE Button! You are DONE! You will receive the latest IEEE events and notifications instantly to your mobile phone for free!
