Chapter 14:

This chapter is a technology integration of various components that enables the students to:

1. Understand the overall design approach to a Mechatronic project

2. Learn from practical examples the integration and interfaces among various components covered in separate chapters earlier

3. Develop skills needed in realizing Mechatronic products especially in overall design strategy, alternative choice, and software planning and programming

4. Transform project requirements into design characteristics and specifications

5. Interface various blocks of a product

6. Realize a complete project to meet design specifications

7. Adapt parts of presented programs and products for utilization in other Mechatronic projects
